The goal of this database is to gather all references in which a given species is mentioned, mainly from Belgian publications since their inception. It serves as a valuable resource for learning more about a species’ ecology, collection or trapping techniques, historical localities, and other relevant information.

Species names in the index are presented as they appear in the original publications. To retrieve the most comprehensive information, it is recommended to also search using known synonyms. Taxonomic or typographical errors may occur in species or genus names; therefore, it is advisable to verify them individually.
